Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Protect The Earth In ‘Marvel Crisis Protocol’

Atomic Mass Games have revealed the arrival of Nick Fury, Jr., and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Marvel Crisis Protocol.

The Marvel Crisis Protocol: Nick Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Character Pack (CP55) ushers in the long-awaited arrival of the head of the Marvel Universe’s premier spy organization. The son of the original, Nick Fury, Jr. is aided in his spy games with the help a group of unnamed S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and their tactical ropes (sorry, couldn’t help ourselves). The agents are supposed to feature a new mechanic that will introduce grunts/minions to the game, a long requested…if not hotly debated…element for the game.

The Nick Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Character Pack includes the Nick Fury miniature and base, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents miniature and base, 2 character stat cards, an Affiliation card, 10 Team Tactic cards, and 8 tokens. The set will retail for $44.95.

The affiliation card will introduce the S.H.I.E.L.D. affiliation to the game. Currently, the prime candidates for this affiliation would be Hawkeye, both Black Widows, both Captain Americas, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man. Possible surprise reveals on the card could include Phil Coulson, Maria Hill, Quake (the character features on some previous cards), Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, and Kitty Pryde.

Also revealed was the official announcement of the Quintet terrain pack:

Originally shown off during the mini-extraganza during last year, the Marvel Crisis Protocol: Quinjet Terrain Pack (CP72) add an extra level of emersion to the game. The Quinjet is an iconic vehicle within the Marvel Universe, serving as the go to mode of transportation for the Avengers who lack the ability of flight.

According to the live stream, the Quinjet will also be the game’s first official piece of non-interactive terrain. This simply means the model can not be destroyed or thrown.

The Marvel Crisis Protocol: Quinjet Terrain Pack (CP72) will retail for $79.99.
